8. Today, I said, "Rain is bad. Hail is worse. A hurricane is the worst" while teaching about adjectives. A couple kids go, "Ooooo she said a bad worrrrd!!" I was so confused for a minute before I realized that "hell" with a Southern accent sounds like "hail". I died laughing, then explained that hail is a type of precipitation when ice balls fall from the sky.
9. Today, the student with the worst behavior in my class was referred to an alternative school for students with behavior problems.
10. It's a learning process, but I couldn't be more grateful for the two WONDERFUL teachers that I have been placed with!!! :)
