DIY Address Keeper

While writing thank you notes recently, I found myself wishing I had all the addresses of family and friends in one convenient place. I had a list from the wedding, but many addresses were outdated and some people are newer friends. I love the idea of a super cute address book, but I hate writing in those tiny lines, running out of room for the S's (you know who you are), and crossing it out when someone moves. There has to be an easier way!

First, I found a recipe box that I am not using (recipe binder post coming soon). Can't beat Vera Bradley!

Then, some scratch paper and a recipe with a tab to trace the alphabet divider cards. I made 13.

Next, I got some notecards to write the addresses on. The 4 x 6 size fit in the box.

Then came the daunting task of writing the addresses and phone numbers on the cards! Spread out over a few days though, it wasn't bad.

Ta da! It's done! Now if someone moves, I take out their old card and write a new one! No scratching out required.
